Its really light, true to color, great gate opening and generally well built and sturdy. I use it on my backpack to attach other items e.g. water bottle and its great for that use.I considered docking a star because the first one I received was scratched up. However, the seller did make it right and sent me a new one so not going to crib, especially since satisfied with the product.IMPORTANT: I AM NOT USING THIS TO CLIMB SO I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT PERFORMS FOR ITS PRIMARY INTENDED USE
